Ragol Server PSO

We have another update, all thanks to fuzziqersoftware:

We now have the Item Loss Prevention patch on all DC v2 versions when you connect to the server! This makes it so when you crash, you don't lose any items, so backups are not necessary all the time (they are still a good idea to do every so often of course)

To apply this, you need to use the new patches option at the ship select.

Patches: Apply patch for this session only
Patch switches: Apply patch automatically every time you log on

Please let us know what you think and if there are any problems.

Note that if using a shared serial (which most of you are), you cannot use patch switches as they are account based. You must apply the patch manually every time.

eu que uso serial e chave de acesso originais do meu DC de PSO posso usar esse patch ou só pra quem usa as chaves do servidor Ragol?

Do you mean to patch the disc? This is difficult as it depends on the disc you are using. Ives' disc have custom encryption so a patcher for that wouldn't work for my cdi or official GDI or anything... So in this case you will only be able to get it from Ragol but I suspect Sylverant will have it soon

Anyone can use it! V2 only however as V1 cannot server patch.

Yes, Ragol is not just a Dreamcast/PC server, it also supports both GameCube and Xbox, along with the Episode 3 card game.

It also supports the many betas and prototypes if you ever had interest in them.

Yes, they will have a new GC.

But you can't use a new SNAK on a new character, or the character will appear corrupted. The SNAK must be the same as the one on your Dreamcast; changing serials requires you to delete dc_nvme.bin, then re-inputting them. However, any old characters will no longer be loadable unless you use something like PSO Tool GUI to change the SNAK (which takes a lot of work).

To be clear: You can use this patch even with a shared serial, but you must activate it every time you log on with "Patches". However if you have your own serial, you can use "Patch switches" to have it apply automatically so you will never forget about it.

Também estou achando que foi para o Sylverant. Recebi a mesma mensagem quando fui pro Sylverant com a skin do Sonic

Honestly it'd be a lot easier to start using my .cdi releases - if you are not burning it to a disc, there are not real differences to the fast loading discs as emulators don't have this issue. This would mean you'd just go to Ragol every time, and can just load a different disc if you want to go elsewhere instead.
